We’re looking for a motivated and proactive Procurement Manager to join our Supply Chain team at TKMS ATLAS UK. This role has been created as part of our continued growth and investment in developing procurement capability across the business. About the role

Our Supply Chain team plays an important part in supporting the business through supplier management, procurement activity, and strong collaboration with stakeholders. In this role, you will focus mainly on IT and Facilities procurement, helping the business improve efficiency, strengthen supplier relationships, and develop better ways of working. You will be supported to build confidence in more strategic procurement activity, including category management, supplier engagement, and contract management, while continuing to develop your commercial understanding. You will work closely with colleagues across the business to understand upcoming needs, support planning discussions, and contribute to improving procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Support procurement activity across IT and Facilities categories, with guidance where needed
  • Assist with contract management activities including renewals, negotiations, and supplier reviews
  • Help develop category strategies aligned to business needs and cost efficiency goals
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings to understand future requirements and upcoming projects
  • Support tender and RFP processes, including supplier evaluation and selection activities
  • Assist in implementing supplier and process improvements across the business
  • Help manage supplier relationships and contribute to improving performance and service levels via supplier performance reviews, including KPIs, SLAs, and risk monitoring
  • Assist with procurement compliance and purchase order processes
  • Carry out market research to understand supplier options and industry trends and support presentations and updates for internal stakeholders, including senior leaders
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and add value within procurement categories
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function

About You

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, develop, and grow within procurement. You will be confident working with others, keen to build relationships, and comfortable getting involved in both operational and strategic activities over time. Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience ideally in procurement/supply chain or a related commercial role
  • An interest in working towards CIPS qualification
  • A developing understanding of supplier management and contract processes
  • Some experience supporting procurement activity such as tenders, supplier reviews, or negotiations
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • An interest in learning how to develop category strategies and deliver value improvements
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with an appetite to work with data and reporting
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Experience with SAP or ERP systems would be beneficial but not essential
