Currently partnering with a leading Alternatives business with the recruitment of an Azure Data Engineer. This is a key hire within a growing IT Architecture team at an organisation that is cloud-first, Microsoft-stack focused, and mid-way through a significant data platform maturation journey.

You'll take ownership of the Enterprise Data Warehouse and play a central role in evolving the organisation's Microsoft Fabric-based data platform - including CI/CD pipelines, data integration, and reporting capabilities. The environment is collaborative and lean, with real scope to shape how the platform develops. You'll also provide a degree of support and training to the wider team as the platform grows.

Key Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric is essential.
  • Strong experience across ADF, ADLS, Azure SQL, and Power BI, with the ability to build end-to-end data pipelines.
  • Proven ability to build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, YAML, PowerShell.
  • Competent in Python/PySpark for data transformation and processing.
  • Familiarity with test tools and testing processes within a data platform context.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, data governance, and data quality management.
  • Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases and confident SQL query authoring.
