We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Infrastructure team for a critical Windows 11 upgrade project. The role focuses on assessing hardware equipment compatibility with the new operating system and supporting a large-scale deployment across multiple sites. The successful candidate will gather and analyse requirements related to hardware and software compatibility, engage with stakeholders to understand business and technical needs, and support the delivery of the upgrade programme. This role requires 3 days per week onsite in Coventry.
Experience in managing or supporting large-scale Windows deployments is essential. Candidates must have Windows upgrade experience as a Business Analyst. This isn't a Project Manager or a Windows Support Engineer role.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse hardware and software compatibility requirements for Windows 11 deployment
- Engage with infrastructure teams and end users to gather and document business and technical requirements
- Support planning and coordination of deployment activities across multiple sites
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and feedback sessions to ensure alignment and readiness
- Assist in testing and validation of hardware compatibility and upgrade processes
- Provide clear documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
On site 3 days per week in Coventry is essential – this is non negotiable.
Skills- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale IT infrastructure or OS upgrade projects
- Strong understanding of hardware compatibility and Windows operating systems, specifically Windows 11
- Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across dispersed teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a contract role inside IR35
