Scottish Power Transmissions are looking for a Continual Improvement Quality Advisor to join them on a contract basis.
As the Quality Advisor - Continual Improvement you will support the HSEQ System Lead, and you will be responsible for embedding change and improvements into business-as-usual processes. You will coordinate and manage a variety of working groups and stakeholders to ensure that any amendments are fit for purpose and auditable with clear inputs and outputs. You will support internal training on process improvements via classroom or remote learning environments. You will be involved in defining and gathering KPIs, reports and general performance data. Training and mentoring the supply chain to ensure their systems are up to the required standard.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Capture and review improvement suggestions
- Work with stakeholders to ensure all points of view are considered in process updates
- Support in the audit schedule and carrying out internal audits
- Support in the maintenance and management of the online IMS
- Support updates to process and procedure
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in coaching and facilitation
- Significant experience in communication and report writing
- IT proficient in Microsoft applications
- Proven ability to work and influence a team environment
MINIMUM CRITERIA
- Previous experience in an influencing role
- Current valid UK driving licence
- Trained in Quality Auditing (Internal or Lead Auditor certification)
- Working knowledge of a document system (SharePoint/BIM etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in document reviews
- Understanding of ISO 9001
- Understanding of root cause analysis
- Experience of delivering business change into an organisation through a continuous improvement initiative.
