CompEx Electrician – Greater Manchester
Salary: £48,000 – £52,000 + Overtime + Van + Fuel card + benefits
Contract type: Permanent
We\’re looking for a skilled CompEx Electrician to join our client\’s MEICA and Capital Maintenance team at M Group. You\’ll be working alongside our client\’s ATEX and Electrical Services Teams, predominately within the water industry, but also in the Energy and Manufacturing industries.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out a range of electrical installations and maintenance projects in hazardous areas, all in accordance with BS7671: 18th Edition and BS60079, whilst ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Working alongside our established team of experts, which means you will receive a wide range of industry help and support.
What you\\\’ll bring
- You\\\’ll have previous experience of ATEX zones and hazardous areas
- You\\\’ll have working knowledge of a wide range of Ex protection concepts, including but not limited to: Ex d – flameproof, Ex e – Increased Safety and Ex i – Intrinsic Safety
- You\\\’ll have CompEx Ex01 & ndash Ex04 (Gas & Vapours)
- You\\\’ll have completed an NVQ Level 3 (Maintenance or Installation)
- You\\\’ll have also completed 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regs and City & Guilds #removed# Inspection and Testing
- You\\\’ll have industrial experience
- Preferably, you\\\’ll also have CompEx Ex05 &ndash Ex06 (Dust), PASMA, IPAFIOSH and CCNSG.
