We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support the business during a critical period of change. The successful candidate will play a key role in a TUPE transfer process and provide day-to-day HR generalist support across a broad range of advisory responsibilities.

This is a full-time 3 month FTC with the opportunity for hybrid working surrounding the main project time-frame (4-5 weeks).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support on TUPE transfer activities, ensuring compliance and effective communication with all stakeholders
  • Provide expert HR advice and support to managers and employees in a unionised environment, maintaining positive industrial relations
  • Act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries, offering guidance on policies and procedures
  • Manage and advise on a range of employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and absence cases
  • Work closely with line managers to ensure consistency and fairness in the application of HR policies
  • Liaise with union representatives as needed, supporting consultation and negotiation processes
  • Ensure accurate HR record keeping and reporting in line with internal standards and employment legislation


Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar HR Advisor or HR Generalist role
  • Demonstrable experience managing TUPE transfers from start to finish
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience working within a unionised environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
  • Resilient, organised, and able to work independently in a fast-paced setting
