Role: Civil CAD Engineer (Swept Path Analysis / Traffic Management plans / Car Park Design / PVPI Design) for the Hinkley C Nuclear Power Station project.
Location: Hinkley C site, Bridgwater, Somerset (TA5 1UF).
Salary: £35,000 — £55,000 plus travel allowance.
Start date: August 2026 onwards.
Work pattern: 3 days per week on site at the Hinkley Point C site; remaining days remote (flexible arrangements may be considered).
Security: Candidates must obtain nuclear site security clearance.
Eligibility: UK residents on a visa will be considered; sponsorship can be offered for the right candidate.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a drawing office with strong skills in 2D & 3D drawing production and drawing issuing/revision procedures.
- Strong AutoCAD skills and ability to demonstrate knowledge of orthographic projection, plans, sections, elevations & details.
Duties
- Coordinate and update underground service diversions/removals with the Construction Support Services team.
- Develop and update Site Traffic Management Plans, roads, and walkway diversions.
- Update relevant hazard plans.
- Conduct swept path analysis and vehicle tracking.
- Design PVPI and produce drawings.
- Create visualisations.
