We are seeking an experienced SAFe Agile Engineering Process Lead to support a large, complex infrastructure programme, delivered through a close supplier and customer partnership. This role is focused on defining, embedding and optimising engineering processes aligned with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), while ensuring effective integration with ITIL Service Management practices. You will help engineering teams operate with agility and quality, whilst maintaining the operational stability, compliance and security expected within a highly regulated environment. You will work closely with engineering teams, service management functions and senior customer stakeholders to develop both interim and strategic engineering processes, and to clearly communicate new or updated ways of working across the programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement engineering workflows aligned with SAFe Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and established ITIL Service Management practices
- Ensure engineering activities across design, development, testing and deployment comply with:
- ITIL processes (incident, change and problem management)
- Security policies and operational controls
Skills & Experience
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working across technical and non-technical teams
- Proven experience in infrastructure engineering, including:
- Cloud infrastructure
- Platforms
- End-user/workplace technologies
Security & Location Requirements
- Must be DV eligible and willing to undergo Developed Vetting
- Full-time onsite role based in Basingstoke
