Body Electronics Engineer (849) Cranfield £27.94 per hour We are recruiting a Body Electronics Engineer for one of our automotive clients based in Cranfield. You will be working for a globally recognised automotive company. This is a long-term contract role. The contract is on an ongoing basis a may run for several years. Key Responsibilities of the Body Electronics Engineer: • Generate & develop Cost reduction ideas for electronic components, work cross functionally with other affected Design sections to deliver the ideas. • Application and integration of electrical and electronic components and systems to client’s European vehicles • Releasing and maintaining the vehicle BOM • Capture of customer requirements and creation of high-level specs • Close coordination and cooperation with global Alliance R&D centres • Management of tier 1 suppliers to achieve Q, C, T targets. • Management of supplier and in-house validation to client’s standards • Creation and maintenance of end-of-line configuration data • Having ‘Frontline’ responsibility for Plant and Market support • Standard KPIs for Cost, Quality and Timing: • Achievement of commitment cost at Monitor timing • QBASE and G-CAR closure within Company guidelines • Design release according to agreed date in release schedule.
