We are currently working on behalf of a highly respected aviation client to recruit a skilled B1 Licensed Line Engineer to join their established maintenance team based in Prestwick. This is a permanent opportunity offering a balanced shift pattern and the chance to work on a diverse fleet in a dynamic operational environment.
The Opportunity:
In this hands-on role, you’ll be carrying out a wide range of line maintenance tasks on a fleet that includes Beech King Air aircraft (Series 200 and 300) and PA31s. You’ll be part of a dedicated engineering team focused on ensuring operational readiness and airworthiness of the fleet through timely maintenance and rectification work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance on various aircraft types
- Conduct defect troubleshooting and rectification
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment, including hangar and tooling areas
- Support maintenance planning and daily operational needs
- Occasionally provide support at other UK locations if required
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Holds an unrestricted UK CAA Part 66 B1 Licence with relevant type ratings (Beech 200/300 or PA31)
- Hands-on experience on the aforementioned aircraft within a line maintenance environment
- Strong understanding of safety and compliance procedures in aviation
- Proactive, adaptable, and committed to high standards of workmanship
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
