Based onsite at our Ashford offices five days a week, you'll act as the central point of coordination between the client, contractors, and internal teams. This role suits someone confident, proactive, and switched on - able to manage high volumes of work, use their initiative, and take ownership in a fast-paced operational setting.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client and contractor queries
  • Manage incoming labour requirements, ensuring requests are logged, processed, and actioned accurately
  • Use client systems (PeopleSoft) and internal software to manage administration and workflow
  • Support the full contractor lifecycle, including onboarding, compliance, inductions, assignment details, and health & safety requirements
  • Manage contractor timesheets, pay queries, working hours, and contract extensions
  • Build strong working relationships with the client and influence forward planning of requirements
  • Ensure agreed processes are followed efficiently and consistently
  • Resolve issues as they arise, escalating where necessary
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance and audit readiness
  • Work closely with internal delivery teams to maintain service levels

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong administrative experience (essential) - this is a hands-on, admin-heavy role
  • Experience in recruitment, workforce management, MSP, rail, or blue-collar environments is desirable
  • Rail industry knowledge or experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with clients and challenging constructively when needed
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to use initiative
  • Comfortable working at pace in a high-volume, operational environment
