About The Role Our client is dedicated to enhancing lives, communities, and the engineering and construction industry by offering sustainable employment opportunities and fostering strong community relationships. We are currently seeking a Site Engineer to join our Calvert Delivery Area (CA). This role will be joining our Earthworks team. This role is located at our West Street compound just outside of Buckingham. A full driving license and access to a vehicle are required for this position. As a Site Engineer, you will oversee junior engineers on site and assist with construction operations. You will collaborate with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, equipment, and materials to meet required standards, schedules, and budgets. Your responsibilities will include working with the setting-out team to ensure the performance and development of junior engineers, identifying and resolving technical issues in coordination with the senior team and Sub Agent. You will also monitor and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring their work meets contractual requirements. Additionally, you will ensure the team has all necessary information and resources to perform their duties, assist in producing schedules, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting.
