About the Role
Morson Talent are proud to be recruiting on behalf of Severn Trent, who keep water flowing for 4.8 million households and businesses across the heart of the UK — 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are now looking for a Customer Pollution Controller to join Severn Trent's Network Control team within the Waste Operational Control Centre in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in customer service, environmental response, or analytical operations who enjoys making quick, informed decisions that protect the environment.
In this role, you will assess reports of potential pollution events, determine their priority, and ensure the correct field response is deployed swiftly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess customer reports and telemetry information to identify potential pollution events.
- Prioritise and raise appropriate response jobs (Priority 1 Rapid Response or lower priority) based on risk.
- Contact customers via phone or video to gather information.
