To support a growing pipeline of exciting power civils engineering projects, we are recruiting for Civil and Structural Engineers and Technicians. The role involves working closely with other disciplines on various new-build substations, substation upgrades/extensions and other electrical infrastructure. The responsibilities within this role include: * Create design documents and drawings for projects, * Undertake technical and feasibility studies and site investigations * Perform calculations and developing detailed designs, including foundations, steel structures and mounting * Visit sites and advise on engineering issues * Oversee the work of junior staff or mentoring designers * Communicate and liaise effectively with colleagues, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and clients * Manage changes related to the design. Identify and notify relevant parties of changes in the project Utilise a range of design computer packages for designing projects and undertaking complex and repetitive The ideal candidate will have the below skills and experience: * Demonstrable experience of your work on engineering design within substation projects. * Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Revit * Good understanding and knowledge of CDM requirements. * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
