Job Description:

3 days per week on site in Cambridge (first month only) – remote thereafter

6 month contract (initially) – potential to extend

Required Experience:

  1. AutoCAD Electrical experience, this is their main design software, they will be using NFPA symbol standards for Canada.
  2. Working within a configuration-controlled PLM environment. (Windchill, but others should be suitable)
  3. Working to BS7671, the project will be to CSA standard but the principle of working to them will be the same so should be transferable.
  4. Comfortable with electrical part selection against a list of requirements.
  5. Comfortable with electrical calculations related to selection and design of electrical systems (Power, Comms, Lighting, etc).
  6. Working on projects destined for a Military customer or awareness of working to Military standards.
  7. Automotive design experience or awareness of working/integrating with Automotive systems.
  8. Experience or awareness of working with Communication protocols (CANBus, MODBus, RS232, etc.)
