You’ll have the opportunity to:Develop and execute the organisation’s Data Strategy and Data Governance StrategyDefine and implement effective data architecture patterns, standards and principlesEstablish and embed data governance practices across the data team and wider organisationWork closely with senior management, IT, Enterprise Architecture, Legal, Compliance and RiskLead architectural and governance activities, supporting analysts and engineers in delivering high-quality data productsDevelop and maintain a data catalogue, including critical data elements, data flows and data lineageSupport data quality, classification, ownership, integrity and interoperabilityDocument data journeys across operational, analytical and integration layersProvide architecture and governance guidance across data-related projectsMonitor emerging industry trends, regulatory requirements and best practice within the insurance sectorSupport the Head of Data in developing data maturity and confidence across the organisationWhat you will bringProven experience in data architecture, data governance and data managementExperience working with data governance tools and technologiesStrong understanding of data architecture, data quality, data lineage and data management principlesExperience working with senior stakeholders across technology, risk, compliance and business functionsThe ability to influence teams and embed strong data governance practices across an organisationYou will bring energy, enthusiasm and a collaborative approach, with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with stakeholders across the business.Experience within the insurance or financial services is highly desired.A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related discipline is desirableIf you’re an experienced Data Architect looking for an opportunity to make a real impact on data strategy, architecture and governance within a leading fast-paced, people-focused business.
