Business Analyst - Telephony Transformation Contract Length: Initial 6 Months | Rate: Up to Β£600 per day | Location: London (Minimum 1 day per week onsite) Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a major telephony transformation programme. Working alongside an incumbent Business Analyst and key stakeholders, you will play a critical role in documenting the current-state telephony environment, defining the future-state operating model, and producing the business requirements required to support migration to a new telephony provider. This role requires strong business analysis expertise, stakeholder engagement skills, process mapping capabilities, and experience supporting large-scale technology transformation programmes. Key Responsibilities * Capture and document the current (as-is) telephony landscape across the organisation. * Analyse existing business processes, technical workflows, hardware, and telephony usage. * Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to gather business requirements. * Define the desired future-state (to-be) telephony solution and operating model. * Conduct gap analysis between current and future states, identifying business, process, and technology changes required. * Produce high-level scope documentation and business requirements. * Support cost-benefit assessments and impact analysis activities. * Develop detailed business requirements documentation for use by the selected telephony provider. * Work closely with Process Analysts, Project Managers, Programme Managers, SMEs, and technical teams. * Ensure requirements are documented, reviewed, and signed off by relevant stakeholders. * Adhere to established project governance and change delivery methodologies. Essential Experience * Proven experience working as a Business Analyst on large-scale transformation programmes. * Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills. * Experience conducting current-state and future-state analysis. * Demonstrable experience delivering gap analysis and impact assessments. * Strong process mapping and business process modelling capabilities. * Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills. * Experience producing both high-level and detailed business requirements documentation. * Ability to work effectively across business and technical teams. Desirable Experience * Previous experience within telephony, unified communications, contact centre, or customer service platform projects. * Experience supporting telephony migrations or technology replacement programmes. * Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies. * Experience working with third-party technology suppliers and implementation partners.
