We’re anticipating Level 2 Welding Inspector opportunities with in Belfast (BT3) and are currently building our candidate pool.
Location: Belfast, BT3
Role: Level 2 Welding Inspector
Anticipated start: From 21/09
Rate: £24.20 per hour + £8 per hour travel allowance
TA: Only paid to candidates living 39+ miles from site
The role will involve supporting fabrication projects, carrying out weld inspections and ensuring work meets approved procedures, drawings, specifications and relevant standards.
We’re looking for:
- CSWIP 3.1 / PCN Level 2 Welding Inspector
- BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline
- Strong fabrication and welding inspection experience
- Knowledge of FCAW, GMAW/MIG, SMAW, GTAW/TIG and SAW
- Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols
- Knowledge of welding defects and relevant standards
- Shipbuilding/classification experience advantageous
- Good IT skills, including Word and Excel
- Strong focus on safety and quality
- Other relevant PCN/inspection qualifications may be considered.
Candidates will be responsible for arranging and covering their own accommodation and transportation.
