We are currently seeking a Social Value Delivery Consultant to join our clients team in South Yorkshire, working closely with local authorities, charities, schools, community partners, voluntary groups and similar. You will support the delivery of project based social value commitments within the Eastern region by carrying out planning, community engagement activity, evidence collection, reporting, and day to day delivery tasks. This role is delivery focused and supports the Social Value Manager in implementing the organisations overarching social value strategy.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Deliver agreed social value and community engagement activities for Eastern region projects
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records on AmcoGiffen platforms
  • Draft community notices, engagement and social value plans and project updates
  • Attend client, site and community meetings when required
  • Support development of CWaNAs
  • Complete monthly reporting, evidence logs and KPI updates
  • Identify and suggest community engagement opportunities aligned to AG priorities
  • Support compliance with Network Rail community relations requirements
  • Provide timely updates on risks, issues or delays
  • Maintain positive relationships with local partners and community organisations

Key Technical Competencies

  • Experience in community engagement, social value delivery or related fields
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and evidence in line with audit requirements
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload independently
  • Good written communication skills
  • Confidence engaging with community partners and external stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of social value reporting tools or willingness to learn
  • Ability to travel to sites and community locations as required
