We are seeking experienced Smart Meter Engineers to join a leading provider of energy infrastructure and metering services across the UK. The Role
- Efficiently and accurately installing smart metres
- Investigating and resolving non‑communicating smart metres
- Attending emergency and maintenance appointments
- Promptly restoring gas and electricity supplies when customers require assistance
This customer‑focused role prioritises safety and service excellence. You will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard, while also educating customers on the benefits and safe use of their new smart meters.

What We’re Looking For
- CCN1, CMA1, CMA3 qualifications or NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel
- Experience installing gas and electric smart metres
- Previous MOCOPA experience is preferred
- Additional qualifications such as 3 Phase/CT and/or Medium Pressure are highly desirable and financially rewarded
Salary & Benefits
- Basic Salary: £39,000 – £42,000 per annum
- On‑target earnings of up to £50,000+
- £2,000 annual safety and attendance bonus (paid biannually)
- Uncapped productivity‑related bonus
- Additional £1,000 salary enhancement for 3 Phase/CT and/or Medium Pressure qualifications
- Regular overtime paid at time and a half
- Double time on Sundays
- Standby, overtime and call‑out opportunities for extra earning potential
