Project Manager – WaterContract: 24 months | South West England | Competitive day rate.

We are working with a leading engineering consultancy seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of major water infrastructure projects across the South West. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high‑profile programme delivering complex projects within the UK water sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of water infrastructure projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Manage project scope, programme, budget, risk and stakeholder engagement.
  • Administer and manage projects under NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and external contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators and project partners.
  • Produce regular project reports and provide updates to senior stakeholders.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering £10m+ water infrastructure projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts (essential).
  • Experience working on Environment Agency projects.
  • Previous involvement in the construction, refurbishment or alteration of reservoirs.
  • Experience delivering projects within the public sector.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
