Project Manager – WaterContract: 24 months | South West England | Competitive day rate.
We are working with a leading engineering consultancy seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of major water infrastructure projects across the South West. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high‑profile programme delivering complex projects within the UK water sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of water infrastructure projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Manage project scope, programme, budget, risk and stakeholder engagement.
- Administer and manage projects under NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and external contractors.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators and project partners.
- Produce regular project reports and provide updates to senior stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience delivering £10m+ water infrastructure projects.
- Strong working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts (essential).
- Experience working on Environment Agency projects.
- Previous involvement in the construction, refurbishment or alteration of reservoirs.
- Experience delivering projects within the public sector.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
