The Role
As a PeopleSoft Technical Developer, you will design, develop, support, and enhance technical solutions within our PeopleSoft environment. Working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners, you will help deliver scalable and effective solutions that support key business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Development & Support
- Design, develop, and maintain technical solutions within the PeopleSoft environment.
- Translate business requirements into robust technical deliverables.
- Support application development, testing, troubleshooting, and optimisation activities.
- Assist with ongoing application support and issue resolution.
- Systems & Technical Delivery
- Develop and maintain solutions using PeopleSoft technologies including PeopleTools, Application Designer, and Data Mover.
- Work with Microsoft SQL Server and related database technologies.
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and technical implementations.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve system functionality, performance, and efficiency.
- Contribute to best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with IT teams, business users, project teams, and external partners to deliver successful outcomes.
About You
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Typically 1‑3 years of software development experience, or demonstrable equivalent capability.
- Good understanding of SQL and database concepts.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience with PeopleSoft Financials and/or HCM applications.
- Exposure to PeopleSoft PeopleTools, Application Designer, or Data Mover.
- Experience with development technologies such as .NET, C#, Java, or similar programming languages.
- Understanding of enterprise application environments and system integrations.
