We are looking for an experienced Organisational Learning Coordinator to support the delivery and continual development of organisational learning, performance improvement and continuous improvement activities across a major engineering and construction programme. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team working within a complex, highly regulated and safety-critical environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in capturing organisational learning, identifying improvement opportunities and ensuring that lessons are effectively shared and translated into meaningful actions across the programme.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Organisational Learning Lead, the Organisational Learning Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation, user support and continual development of organisational learning and continuous performance improvement arrangements. The role will have a particular focus on the effective management and use of the organisations learning and reporting tools, ensuring that learning from internal and external sources is captured, analysed, communicated and acted upon.
Working as part of the Performance Improvement team, the post-holder will support the deployment and ongoing development of the organisational learning process, with a particular emphasis on performance improvement and establishing effective site arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage information from internal and external sources to support the identification, capture and dissemination of learning and improvement opportunities.
- Provide day-to-day support for the organisations organisational learning and reporting tools, including user access, action management and data quality.
- Support the Performance Improvement Manager in ensuring appropriate compliance with relevant site and regulatory requirements.
- Promote organisational learning, continuous performance improvement and positive improvement culture across the programme.
- Undertake assurance activities to assess the effectiveness and health of organisational learning systems and processes.
- Analyse data and trends, identify emerging themes and produce clear reports and recommendations for project and programme management.
- Support users of organisational learning systems and facilitate effective management and closure of actions.
- Coordinate benchmarking activities, ensuring relevant learning is identified, captured and translated into appropriate actions.
- Support project governance processes, ensuring meeting preparation, documentation, actions and outputs are effectively coordinated and managed.
- Develop strong connectivity with other areas of the organisation and external stakeholders to ensure learning is shared effectively.
- Support regulatory interfaces and provide relevant information and evidence as required.
- Facilitate access to evidence and documentation required for audits, assurance and accreditation activities.
- Develop and deliver organisational learning and continuous improvement training to ensure personnel have the appropriate knowledge and capability.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of organisational learning processes, systems and ways of working.
