Role Overview

Morson Edge is pleased to be partnering with an international organisation seeking an experienced People Advisor to support a period of increased operational demand for 6 months on a Fixed Term Contract. This is a hands‐on role with a strong focus on employee relations and day‐to‐day HR operations, working closely with managers and HR colleagues to deliver an effective and compliant people service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage a range of employee relations cases, including complex matters.
  • Advise and coach managers on policies, procedures, and employment best practice.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal processes.
  • Support audits, compliance checks, and employee lifecycle administration.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and support payroll‐related processes.
  • Respond to HR queries and assist with recruitment, onboarding, and pre‐employment checks.
  • Support engagement initiatives, policy updates, process improvements, and wider HR projects.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience handling complex employee relations cases independently.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Ideally with experience in an operational environment such as logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, etc.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident advising and challenging stakeholders where appropriate.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast‐paced environment.
  • Excellent relationship building capabilities.
