Our client TFL is looking to recruit an experienced rail fencing and vegetation management supervisor for work across the London rail network. Successful candidates will have experience of leading fencing & vegetation management teams within a live rail environment and of helping plan busy work schedules.
Role and responsibilities will include:
- Health, Safety & Environmental – Promote a positive safety culture, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Planning - assist in a busy office with planning work banks, scheduling, resource allocation, ordering materials, plant, equipment and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance - ensuring adherence to relevant railway regulations and quality control procedures.
- Project Leadership – Oversee and manage teams to ensure all work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Operational Support – Provide guidance to operatives, ensuring safe and efficient working practices.
- Reporting & Communication – Compile and submit activity reports, attend internal and client meetings and report key updates.
A UK driving licence essential, LUL WCI and NWR PTS would be preferable, but training will be provided for the right candidate
