Business Support Administrator - Permanent Position - Cardiff Based
Our client has an opportunity for an experienced, organised and reliable Office support professional to provide office cover across the South West.
This is a Cardiff-based role with regular support across Bristol and Southampton.
Some travel at short notice may be required.
This varied role suits a flexible team player with strong office operations, hospitality, internal customer service, and staff engagement skills, who thrives in a busy environment and is happy to travel at short notice.
This position will be office based, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Purpose & Scope of the Role
Based in Cardiff and covering Bristol and Southampton, you will provide reliable office support across the South West.
This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, organised and service-focused, with strong office operations, hospitality and internal customer service experience.
You'll support day-to-day office activity, help deliver events and catering, and work closely with internal teams to keep operations running effectively and compliant.
Your Impact
You will help ensure offices are fully supported and running efficiently, while maintaining high standards of service and professionalism.
From facilities coordination and visitor experience to meeting room setup and event logistics, your contribution will help create a positive environment for colleagues and visitors alike.
You'll also play a role in improving processes, supporting colleagues and engaging with the centralised support team.

- Office Operations - Support and maintain office housekeeping such as supplies, workspace standards, and basic site compliance to keep the office running smoothly.
- Hospitality & Reception Excellence - Booking and scheduling meetings or events, visitor management, AV equipment function, and support catering.
- Internal Customer Service - Deliver responsive, professional support to colleagues across the business.
- Process Improvement - Maintain service standards and identify ways to improve procedures and ways of working.
- Collaboration & Team Support - Work with support colleagues nationally and locally to prioritise workload and assist as needed.
- Training, Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in office administration or support is essential, along with strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and proficient using Microsoft 365 suite as well as online applications such as booking/scheduling tools.
Experience supporting events, meetings and cross-functional teams is highly desirable.
