The role can be based out of their collaborative studios in Cardiff. The client is a highly respected, interdisciplinary practice that values a positive, curious mindset and an iterative design process. Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Manage live, design‑led projects independently across multiple RIBA stages from concept to completion on site.
- Technical Excellence: Interrogate design details and oversee the production of comprehensive technical drawing packages and documentation.
- Collaborative Coordination: Work closely within an open studio environment, coordinating effectively with internal design teams, clients, and external consultants.
- Sustainability & Compliance: Ensure all design proposals strictly comply with UK Building Regulations, planning permissions, and modern net‑zero sustainability standards.
Requirements
- Professional Qualification: ARB registered Architect.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience running projects independently within a UK architectural practice.
- Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in BIM workflows, specifically utilizing Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Sector Exposure: Strong portfolio demonstrating successful project delivery within commercial, residential, or public sectors.
