Anderselite is working in partnership with a small but growing design-led practice in Bristol to find a talented Urban Designer or Senior Urban Designer to join their collaborative team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong design instincts and a genuine passion for shaping great places. The studio works across the UK on a range of residential and mixed-use schemes, placing emphasis on high-quality, well-articulated masterplans and urban design frameworks. You will be closely involved in early-stage site analysis, conceptual design, and visioning through to illustrative masterplans and detailed documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to early-stage site analysis, conceptual design, and visioning through to illustrative masterplans and detailed documentation.
  • Collaborate with a design-led team on residential and mixed-use schemes with emphasis on masterplans and urban design frameworks.

Qualifications

  • A degree (or equivalent) in Urban Design or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in the UK.
  • Strong UK-based residential and masterplanning experience.
  • A design-led mindset; we are looking for a true urban designer, not just a layout technician.
  • Excellent graphic, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in outline masterplanning, concept development, and vision documents.
  • Some experience in residential layout design is desirable, but not essential.

Software

  • Adobe Creative Suite (essential).
  • Vectorworks (desirable).
