Morson is delighted to be working in partnership with a market leading aerospace organisation to recruit a Logistics Operative for an initial 12 month contract. There is a rate of £13.71 Per Hour PAYE (+Holiday Pay) on offer for the successful candidate. There is also the possibility of additional overtime subject to business requirements. My client is based in the Filton area of Bristol. This role would be working on standard day shift Monday to Friday.
Role Purpose
- Follow standard work for material handling.
- Perform all activities in accordance with safety and quality rules.
- Use adequate equipment to move material.
- Record movement of materials in the transactional records system.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure the safety procedures are followed by staff and drivers.
- Process stock in line with site SLA's.
- Support stores stocktaking processes to ensure a robust count.
- Unload supplier deliveries using POV's.
- Good knowledge of logistical SAP transactions and processes.
- Moves/Handles materials between production cells.
- Use of material handling equipment for material movements.
- Pick, Pack and Ship product for onward delivery, internally and externally.
- Oversee delivery movements and collection between building and processes.
- Provide material call off lists for stores.
