The client practice specialises in high-end, bespoke architectural solutions, seamlessly blending the restoration, conservation, and adaptation of historic and listed buildings (Grades I, II*, and II) with luxury contemporary design. Managing an exciting portfolio of premium residential and commercial projects across the South of the UK-ranging in construction value from Β£300k to Β£8 million-they pride themselves on delivering an exceptional, tailored service.Key
Responsibilities
- Design & Concept Development: Translate historic character into contemporary elegance, creating bespoke design proposals from initial concept through to detailed planning submissions.
- Conservation & Restoration: Produce sensitive design interventions for high-profile historic fabric, ensuring compliance with strict listed building and conservation area requirements.
- Collaborative Delivery: Work alongside senior architects, technicians, and external specialists to seamlessly transition concept designs into rigorous construction drawing packages.
- Client & Stakeholder Relations: Assist in managing client communications, preparing stunning visual presentations, and liaising with local planning authorities and historic preservation bodies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Educational Background: Degree in Architecture (RIBA Part I / Part II or equivalent international qualification) or a specialized degree in architectural design.
- Software Proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard design tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar 2D/3D modelling and rendering programs.
- Design Sensibility: A sharp eye for spatial layout, material detailing, and high-end aesthetics, balancing historical context with contemporary luxury.
- Communication Skills: Excellent graphic, written, and spoken communication skills tailored for high-net-worth clients, contractors, and local planning departments.
