Morson Talent currently has an exciting new position for a Bid Finance Analyst to join our prestigious Aerospace client based in Yeovil.
This is a contract initially 6 months (1709).
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND TASKS
- Pull together financial data and analysis to support the bid process for UK MOD and International Military Aircraft contracts, and provide advice and support to the ongoing delivery against secured contracts in relation to financial assumptions, baseline data and projections.
- Translate customer bid requirements into actionable financial assumptions for the business.
- Ensure bid scope is costed in accordance with instructions from the UK MOD and International Business Units.
- Consolidate bids and cost data from across the Company (UK, Italy and other sites) and external partners.
- Develop the bid from a financial information perspective.
- Establish and predict the cash contract value.
- Analyse and predict annual cash accruals, used as sales value.
- Provide cost/sales value projections year on year.
- Critically review proposals to ensure costs are complete.
- Manage financial risk of data used to support bid submissions for new contracts.
- Support UK and International business units through negotiations as required.
- Complete financial analysis for contract flow-down between legal entities and departments (compile Cost to Price Make Up).
- Deliver services to strict and demanding deadlines to assist bid submissions.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis in support of Product, Capital & Site Investment in the UK.
Duration: 6 months. Regular Remote Worker (~20% onsite).
