3 on 4 off PAYE: £25.15 (excluding holiday pay per hour) UMBRELLA: £33.60
Overtime: £31.44 - £53.16
Travelling contractors:
3 on 4 off PAYE: £33.15 (excluding holiday pay per hour) UMBRELLA: £44.46
Overtime: 31.44 - £53.43
Job Description:
Welding different materials (carbon & stainless steel & aluminium)
Welding using different welding processes i.e., Manual Metal Arc, Metal Active Gas, Metal Inert Gas, Automatic & Semi-Automatic Machine Welding (Submerged – Arc & KAT) & Resistance Welding (Stud Welding)Welding butts and fillets to a high standardMain process – FCAW / MAG – using ceramic tilesSelf-verification on all weldsAdhering to all SHE related standards associated with welding, including fume control
Your Skills and requirements:
Modern Apprenticeship certificate also known as Trade Papers (you will be required to provide papers)
Ceramic Tile Welding KnowledgeKnowledge and experience in Welding and use of associated equipmentFlux core arc welding experienceDeposit welds that pass both visual and NDE examinationsMaterials experience of welding carbon steel thickness 4-10mm rangeClear understanding of SHE and Risk Assessment awarenessBackground in major construction / manufacturing environmentWelding with MCAW consumablesWelding aluminium with MIG processWelding with automated equipment

Full rate card available on request. Interested applicants who pass the screening call with the hiring manager will need to attend a trade test (usually 2 days). Candidates will be offered the position based on the trade test results.
Successful candidates will be required to gain security clearance before eligible to start on site (we will help you with all paperwork)
