Morson Edge is looking for Skilled Aircraft Fitters in Burnley. This is an ongoing contract with a rate of £26.19 Umbrella / £19.70 PAYE.

The Role: You will be responsible for assembling and installing sheet metal components using engineering drawings, templates, and fixtures, working to close tolerances and exacting aerospace standards.

  • Assemble sheet metal components using engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Work with materials including aluminium, steel, and titanium
  • Install aerospace fasteners and components to required standards
  • Carry out drilling, fitting, and assembly activities with high accuracy
  • Use hand tools and assembly equipment safely and effectively
  • Maintain right-first-time quality standards
  • Follow all health, safety, and site procedures
  • Work closely with the wider production team to meet output targets

Requirements:

  • Time-served apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Experience within manufacturing or aerospace environments
