Role Overview: We are looking to appoint a SEO Specialist to oversee and take responsibility for the day to day running of the eCommerce website, including all digital advertising, SEO and conversion.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- eCommerce & CRO: Leverage data in Google Analytics and Search Console and from site audits to identify areas for improvement. Proactively work with the marketing agency to improve the conversion rate and UX of the website through regular analytics reporting. Working with the wider team and marketing agency to help develop, test and learn website developments. Proficiency using relevant software such as Google Analytics and Search Console, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs to generate insight and diagnose problems and recommend solutions. Working closely with marketing agency to ensure that website bugs / issues are dealt with. Monitor, analyse & report on eCommerce bookings & opportunities. Make suggestions for improvements to ensure eCommerce targets are met.
- SEO: Responsibility for keyword mapping and alignment of keywords between the in-house marketing team and the marketing agency. Perform regular SEO audits and recommend changes to the Head of Marketing and marketing agency for continuous improvements. Support the content team on the execution of content strategy and campaigns, optimising landing pages with SEO Best Practice in mind. Perform regular keyword research to improve SEO, assist with content ideas & aid business decisions. Produce and update written content for the 3B website to aid SEO. Ensure 3B ranks highly in all search engine results. Be responsible for all on-page SEO, e.g. headings, URLs, metadata, internal links and content. Recommend and scope technical optimisation fixes and/or changes to enhance site performance, e.g. improvements to crawlability and speed. Keep up to date with relevant Search Engine Marketing and share relevant knowledge with the team. Make recommendations for third-party websites to develop high quality backlinks. Horizon scanning and competitor analysis to ensure 3B Training remains competitive in the sector.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
- Experience working in SEO and CRO.
- Experience using WordPress CMS, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console.
