Morson Edge are working with a leading employee-owned multidisciplinary architectural practice to recruit a Senior Architect to join their growing London studio. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Architect to join a highly respected design-led practice delivering projects across a diverse range of sectors.

Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, you’ll lead complex projects from concept through to completion while mentoring junior team members and building strong client relationships. The practice is recognised for its commitment to sustainable design, innovation and people-first values, offering the opportunity to work alongside architects, interior designers, landscape architects, urban designers and planning professionals on a varied portfolio of high-quality projects.

The Opportunity

We’re looking to speak with experienced Senior Architects who enjoy leading projects, managing client relationships and delivering high-quality architectural solutions across all RIBA stages. This role combines design leadership, technical delivery and project management, offering the opportunity to oversee multiple commissions while contributing to business development and supporting the continued growth of the London studio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural projects from concept through to completion across all RIBA work stages.
  • Manage the design and technical delivery of complex, high-value projects.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations and stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants.
  • Develop project briefs, design proposals and technical solutions.
  • Manage project programmes, fees, budgets and commercial performance.
  • Produce and review design documentation using Revit.
  • Mentor and support junior architects and project team members.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Contribute to business development activities and support the winning of new work.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • ARB Registered Architect with substantial post-Part III experience.
  • Proven experience delivering projects valued between 5m-20m.
  • Strong experience leading projects through all RIBA work stages.
  • Excellent design, technical detailing and project delivery skills.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong client-facing, presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience working within a design-led architectural practice.
  • Proficient in Revit with experience working in a BIM Level 2 environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Desirable Experience

  • Refurbishment and retrofit projects.
  • Heritage and listed building experience.
  • Education sector projects.
  • Healthcare projects.
  • Knowledge of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC).
  • Experience contributing to business development and securing new work.
