Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test electrical and electronic systems, including circuits, components, and assemblies.
  • Apply engineering principles to deliver robust, reliable solutions aligned to project requirements.
  • Produce and review technical documentation including design artefacts, reports, and data packs.
  • Support system integration, verification, and validation activities.
  • Contribute to design reviews, presenting technical work and supporting decision-making.
  • Develop and implement engineering processes, contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Estimate and manage work packages, ensuring delivery to time, cost, and quality targets.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers where required.
  • Remain current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience delivering electrical/electronic solutions within a complex engineering environment.
  • Strong understanding of core engineering principles and system design.
  • Experience working across the project lifecycle from concept through to delivery.
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation and contribute to structured design reviews.
  • Experience working collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Eligibility to obtain SC clearance.

Desired:

  • Experience within defence, aerospace, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with systems integration, verification, and validation processes.
  • Experience with engineering toolsets and design environments.
  • Exposure to safety, environmental, and compliance standards.
