Overview
As an RF Engineer in our NPI and Continuous Improvement teams, you will design and bring to production high-power RF electronics and amplifiers, shaping how we deliver world-class manufacturing performance. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to take concepts through development, testing, and production, solving real-world problems with robust, evidence-based design. This role offers hands-on problem solving, exposure to cutting-edge RF technologies, and the chance to impact product quality and efficiency at scale. You will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Design RF electronics and amplifiers from concept to production
- Deliver RF hardware development including circuit architecture, schematic capture, PCB layout and BOM
- Improve product performance, reliability, manufacturability and cost
- Develop test plans and prototypes to validate new designs
- Perform RF measurements and characterization of modules, circuits and components
- Analyze data to drive design decisions and improvements
- Troubleshoot legacy RF designs and implement improvements
- Provide hands-on technical support to production and resolve issues
- Manage multiple projects to meet demanding deadlines
Key requirements
- BSc or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Experience in NPI/product development or manufacturing engineering
- Proven track record taking electronic designs from concept to production
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience with HF/VHF solid-state amplifiers and RF components
- Knowledge of HF/VHF semiconductors and RF layouts
- Understanding of Class C, D and E amplifier operation
- FCC/CE testing and certification familiarity
- Desirable: Altium schematic capture and PCB layout
- Desirable: SPICE, ADS or AWR tools
- Desirable: C/C++ and/or Python
