Overview
Project Assurance Manager-SC Security Cleared Project Assurance Manager, ideally with current SC Security Clearance is needed to support our Central Government client to lead enterprise-wide project and programme assurance across a diverse portfolio of complex technology, infrastructure and transformation initiatives.
This is a strategic leadership opportunity where you will provide independent assurance, strengthen governance, influence investment decisions and help improve delivery capability across the organisation.
Essential Experience
- Experience operating at a senior level within project, programme or portfolio assurance and be comfortable influencing executive stakeholders across large, complex organisations.
- Strong skills in Project, Programme or Portfolio Assurance.
- Experience within PMO, Governance or Portfolio Management.
- Experience of supporting projects in Technology, Infrastructure, Engineering or Construction programmes.
- Experience of enterprise risk management and performance reporting.
- Experience of continuous improvement and organisational change.
- Excellent senior stakeholder engagement and executive reporting skills.
- Current SC Security Clearance or eligibility.
Desirable Experience
- PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM or equivalent.
- Experience within Central Government or another large, complex organisation.
- Power BI, MS Project or similar reporting tools.
- Experience leading assurance reviews and governance activities.

- Lead independent assurance across major projects and programmes.
- Provide strategic advice and constructive challenge to senior leaders and governance boards.
- Identify delivery risks and recommend improvements to governance, controls and project performance.
- Drive continuous improvement, lessons learned and organisational maturity.
- Develop assurance frameworks, reporting and governance processes.
- Lead and develop a high-performing assurance function.
- Produce executive-level reporting to support investment and portfolio decisions.

6 month contract- Pay rate £588.00 per day inside IR35- Hybrid working with 3 days per week on site.
