A highly renowned organisation in sustainable energy is seeking a Power System & Product Development Engineer to join its market-leading distribution team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced power systems professional to combine engineering expertise, digital product development and data science to help shape the future of the UK's electricity network.
You will lead the development of innovative smart-grid tools, undertake power system studies, support DERMS deployment, and create digital solutions that enable faster, more flexible customer connections. Working across engineering, operations, IT and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in delivering a smarter and more sustainable energy system.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Power Systems Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience within the energy sector.
- Strong power system analysis experience.
- Experience with DER integration, flexible connections and network operations.
- Data Science and data analytics capability.
- Python development exposure.
- Experience using PowerFactory.
- Product, project and stakeholder management skills.
