Morson Talent is recruiting time-served Pipefitters for a major shipbuilding client in Barrow. This is a long-term opportunity working on complex, high-value marine and heavy industrial projects.

The Role

  • Manufacture, fabrication & installation of small and large bore pipe spools
  • Working in the Pipe Shop and onboard ship
  • Preparing and fabricating pipework ready for installation
  • Working with various materials to tight tolerances

Requirements

  • Time-served Pipefitter (trade papers required)
  • Previous shipbuilding, marine, or heavy industry experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of SHE processes, PPE & RPE
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Experience with datum, imperial measurements & shock clearance
  • Cutting and preparation of non-target material pipework

Pay & Shifts

  • 3 on / 4 off days – Locals: £24.12 PAYE / Non-locals: £32.12 PAYE
  • 3 on / 4 off Nights – Locals: £28.14 PAYE / Non-locals: £36.14 PAYE

Other Information

  • Umbrella rates available
  • Minimum 37 hours per week
  • Overtime available (not guaranteed)
  • 33 days holiday incl. bank holidays
  • Security Clearance required before starting
