We are seeking an experienced Pipe Welder to carry out a range of steel welding and fabrication tasks across the full build lifecycle. You will be time‑served (Modern Apprenticeship) with a solid understanding of welding processes, materials, and industry standards. You’ll work safely, accurately, and to tight tolerances using a variety of tools and equipment.

Shift Pattern:

  • 3‑on / 4‑off shift pattern
  • 37‑hour standard working week
  • Overtime available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out welding and fabrication activities to required standards and specifications
  • Operate tools and machinery safely in line with SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) procedures
  • Deliver work to schedule with a strong focus on quality and safety
  • Inspect and check your own work against defined standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records and follow company processes

Skills & Experience:

  • Time‑served welder (Modern Apprenticeship or equivalent)
  • Experience with a range of welding techniques (e.g. TIG, MIG/MAG, flux‑cored, submerged arc)
  • Ability to read and follow welding procedures and technical drawings
  • Experience working with different materials and in varied environments (e.g. confined spaces)
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

Safety:

You are responsible for your own safety and that of others, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental procedures, and reporting any hazards or incidents.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant engineering apprenticeship (essential)
  • Safety certifications (e.g. SHE, COSHH awareness, working at height) preferred
