Product Sales Manager – Defence Morson Edge is supporting a leading UK defence engineering organisation in the search for an experienced Product Sales Manager to join their growing commercial team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused professional with a strong background in defence sales, business development and bid leadership.
The successful candidate will play a key role in securing new business opportunities, developing customer relationships and leading complex bid activities across specialist defence programmes.
The Opportunity Working closely with senior stakeholders, engineering teams and customers, you will be responsible for driving sales strategy, identifying growth opportunities and delivering winning proposals.
The role spans the full business development lifecycle, from opportunity identification and customer engagement through to bid management and contract award.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies within designated product or capability areas.
Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities across UK and international defence markets.
Lead the preparation and submission of high-value, complex bids and proposals.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships with key defence stakeholders.
Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to develop competitive solutions.
Achieve agreed sales objectives and revenue targets.
Provide market insight and contribute to future product and capability development.
About You We’re looking for someone with: Proven experience within the UK and/or international defence sector.
A successful track record of winning complex bids and securing new business.
Strong business development, sales and bid management experience.
The ability to lead cross-functional teams through the capture and proposal process.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to influence at all levels.
Experience within one or more of the following areas would be highly advantageous: Underwater or sonar systems Naval handling or launch and recovery systems Electrical power, electrification or related defence technologies Personal Attributes Self-motivated with a strong commercial mindset.

Resilient, organised and driven to achieve results.
Comfortable presenting to customers and senior leadership.
Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
