Mechanical Shift Technician Location: Liverpool / Merseyside Salary: £51,667 + Benefits Contract: Permanent Shift pattern: 3 on 3 off We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Shift Technician to join a well-established industrial organisation based in the Liverpool area. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased maintenance professional with experience working in a heavy industrial, process or bulk-handling environment. You will join an established engineering team responsible for ensuring plant and equipment remain safe, reliable and operational. The Role Working as part of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across a range of heavy plant and equipment. Key responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance Diagnosing mechanical faults and responding to equipment breakdowns Maintaining and repairing equipment including conveyor systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and rotating equipment Carrying out plant modifications and supporting engineering improvement projects Working closely with operational teams to prioritise breakdowns and minimise downtime Accurately documenting maintenance activities Working in accordance with Permit to Work systems and site Health
