We’re partnering with an established and growing UK software business that’s investing heavily in its future. As part of an ambitious growth journey, they’re looking for a Marketing Manager to take ownership of the entire marketing function and play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, lead generation, customer engagement and revenue growth.

The Role

Reporting into the leadership team, you’ll own the marketing strategy, budget and delivery, ensuring every activity contributes towards commercial success. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Product and Customer Success, you’ll develop campaigns that generate high-quality leads, increase customer retention and strengthen the company’s position within its market. This is a broad role offering the opportunity to make a real impact within a collaborative, fast-growing software business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and deliver the overall marketing strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Create and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that generate qualified leads and pipeline.
  • Own the marketing budget and ensure strong ROI across all activity.
  • Drive website performance through SEO, PPC and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Develop compelling content including thought leadership, customer stories, case studies and sales enablement materials.
  • Manage the content calendar and maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels.
  • Plan and deliver webinars, exhibitions, conferences and customer events.
  • Support customer engagement and product adoption through targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Analyse campaign performance, report on KPIs and continually optimise marketing effectiveness.
  • Work closely with Sales to improve lead quality, conversion rates and overall commercial performance.
  • Manage external agencies and suppliers where required.
  • Act as the marketing expert within the business, influencing strategy through insight and data.

About You

You’ll be a commercially focused B2B marketer who enjoys taking ownership and delivering results. You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience developing and delivering successful marketing strategies.
  • A proven track record of generating leads and supporting revenue growth.
  • Strong digital marketing knowledge across SEO, PPC, email marketing and content.
  • Experience managing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and improve performance.
  • Experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The confidence to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working within a SaaS or software business.
  • HubSpot experience.
  • A CIM qualification or equivalent.
