The predicted salary is between 54000 - 66000 Β£ per year.

Working closely with engineers, operators, technicians and suppliers, you'll help create the technologies, tools, processes and engineering culture needed to deliver world-leading products and outstanding manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities Design new RF electronics and amplifiers and take designs from concept through implementation, troubleshooting and documentation.

Deliver complete RF hardware development, including circuit architecture, component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout and BOM creation.

Investigate and implement design enhancements to improve product performance, reliability, manufacturability and cost.

Collect accurate, conclusive test data and turn it into clear engineering conclusions and actionable improvements.

Analyse experimental data and use evidence-based engineering to guide design decisions.

Define and implement product and process changes that address internal and external quality issues.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while working effectively to demanding deadlines.

Skills / Experience Required BSc or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering; Practical experience working within an NPI, product development or manufacturing engineering environment.

Demonstrated experience taking an electronic design from concept through development and into production.

Strong knowledge of HF/VHF semiconductors, RF components and their manufacturers.

Understanding of Class C, D and E amplifier operation.

Experience designing high-power discrete-component matching networks.

Understanding of FCC/CE testing and certification requirements.

Thermal management and high-power electronics.

Commercial or amateur HF/VHF solid-state amplifier design and troubleshooting.

C/C++ and/or Python programming.
