Overview
In this role you will support Urenco’s UK Group Tax team with UK and international tax compliance and reporting.
You will gain exposure across Corporation Tax, VAT, Pillar Two, IFRS and FRS 101 tax reporting while contributing to broader tax initiatives and governance.
The position offers development through funded professional training (ATT/CTA/ACCA) and a clear pathway within a global energy leader focused on the net-zero transition.
You will work closely with tax managers and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate analyses and timely tax filings, shaping Urenco’s tax strategy and compliance posture.

Responsibilities
- Prepare UK Corporation Tax returns and computations, VAT filings and Pillar Two compliance
- Produce tax analysis and disclosures for interim and full-year Group reporting under IFRS and FRS 101
- Input tax data into budgets and business plans
- Support R&D tax incentives claims and capital allowances analysis
- Assist with compliance for Senior Accounting Officer and Corporate Criminal Offence requirements
- Contribute to tax policies, procedures, transfer pricing analysis and reporting
- Engage with external advisers for UK tax analysis and wider tax projects
- Provide tax support to other Urenco teams
- Key requirements
- Some existing tax experience
- Interest in developing a career in Tax
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas)
