This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong security professional looking to work across a varied portfolio of complex environments and challenging penetration testing engagements.You will be involved in delivering hands-on penetration testing and security assessments for clients across public sector, Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) and large enterprise environments, with exposure to infrastructure, applications, cloud and modern containerised technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver manual penetration testing and security assessments across infrastructure, networks, operating systems, web applications and APIsConduct security testing across Azure, AWS and other cloud environmentsAssess Kubernetes, Docker, IAM and CI/CD environmentsPerform internal and external infrastructure penetration testsIdentify, exploit and clearly document security vulnerabilitiesProduce high-quality technical reports and present findings to clients and stakeholdersWork closely with clients to understand their environments and communicate technical risks effectivelyContribute to security architecture and security control reviewsSupport junior consultants through mentoring, knowledge sharing and technical guidanceKeep up to date with emerging vulnerabilities, attack techniques and industry developmentsContribute to the ongoing development of penetration testing methodologies, tooling and service offeringsEssential ExperienceProven commercial experience in penetration testing / offensive securityStrong hands-on experience across infrastructure and/or application penetration xbpsjku testingExperience working with cloud environments, particularly Azure and/or AWSExperience with modern technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, APIs and CI/CDStrong understanding of current attack techniques, vulnerabilities and defensive controlsExcellent report writing and client-facing communication skillsCurrent UK Security Clearance (SC)DesirableCREST or Cyber Scheme certificationsExperience working within Public Sector, CNI or large enterprise environmentsExperience leading penetration testing engagements or supporting/mentoring junior testersExperience with cloud-native and hybrid environmentsCyber Security Council professional registration
