This permanent role is based in East Suffolk and requires a candidate who can lead and manage quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across civil engineering projects. Strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams are essential to succeed in this role. Extensive stakeholder engagement. Skills: Minimum 10 years’ experience in civil engineering Quality management and assurance Knowledge of quality standards and compliance (e.g. ISO 9001) Audit planning and execution Risk management and mitigation Process improvement and control Strong leadership and team management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving and analytical thinking Report writing and documentation Software/Tools: Quality management software (e.g. Q-Pulse, ETQ) Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera) Certifications & Standards: Relevant quality management certifications (e.g. IRCA, CQI) desirable Familiarity with civil engineering standards and regulations CSCS card essential Based in East Suffolk with hybrid working arrangements. 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
