Our client is a technical industrial services company that helps its clients protect, and improve large industrial assets such as power stations, oil & gas facilities, shipyards, chemical plants, offshore platforms, defence sites, and construction projects.

  • Main Services
  • Access Solutions - scaffolding, rope access, and elevated work platforms that allow workers to safely reach difficult areas.
  • Insulation - thermal, cryogenic, and acoustic insulation for energy efficiency, temperature control, and noise reduction.
  • Surface Protection - industrial painting, coating, corrosion prevention.
  • Purpose of the Role

To promote a positive health, safety, and environmental culture by ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, company policies, and industry standards while minimizing workplace risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct workplace inspections and safety audits.
  • Identify hazards and carry out risk assessments.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses.
  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
  • Monitor and report HSE performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response planning.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and contractors on HSE matters.
  • Promote employee engagement in health, safety, and environmental initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation.
  • Assist in environmental management activities, including waste management and pollution prevention.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Professional certifications such as

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or Diploma
  • IOSH Managing Safely or membership
  • IEMA qualifications (desirable)
