As a Project Manager in our global aviation technology context, you will lead end-to-end delivery of advanced training solutions for international customers. You’ll drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing and partners to meet schedule, budget and regulatory targets. Your role focuses on delivering high-value, hardware and software integrated projects that support safer skies. Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring schedule, cost, quality and regulatory alignment
- Manage multiple programmes including new simulator builds and complex engineering upgrades
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and external partners
- Define and manage project scope, objectives and deliverables with stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans with WBS, schedules, budgets and risk registers
- Monitor performance and implement corrective actions
- Oversee project budgets, forecasting and cost control
- Identify and mitigate risks and pursue improvement opportunities
- Ensure configuration management and control of changes
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Provide clear project reporting to senior leadership
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
Key requirements
- Proven experience delivering complex, high-value projects with hardware and software integration
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PRINCE2, APM, PMI or MSP)
- Experience in aviation, aerospace, defence or regulated industries
- Excellent stakeholder management across multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail with strategic awareness
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders and customers
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience
- Recognised project management certification (APM, PMI, PRINCE2 or MSP)
